Helen Lovelady

Helen has recently joined the Staff Team at DCFC in January 2026, as Women’s Ministry Coordinator.

Originally training as an Adult Nurse, then Midwife, she worked in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital until having the youngest of their children.

 The following season saw Helen volunteer in various local activities and then her husband’s job took them on a 6 year adventure to Houston, Texas. There, she was actively involved in their church’s Women and Prayer ministries.

 Once settled back into Scotland, she returned to Midwifery and latterly worked as a Community Midwife in Aberdeenshire.

 Helen is married to Neil and they have 4 young adult children…..all still living at home, whilst they work and study locally.

 Helen is passionate about supporting and leading women and when not at work, enjoys crafty things, walking their dog, catching up with friends and exploring new places.
