bookletdownloadStrength & Renewal

"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." (Isaiah 40:31)

Supporting and enabling the work of the church.

We want to look out for each other and provide mutual support and encouragement. We are like different bits of a body all needed and with an array of gifts to practice. Knowing Jesus is much more than head knowledge, it's practical.

A snapshot of what's happening in this area:

Getting together in focused groups to share and encourage - groups for men, for women and for those wishing to explore Christianity.

Support can come in many forms and includes identifying and helping those with practical needs; meeting together of those with special interests; and sharing food together.

The church office is not simply administration and the duty teams are not just jobs to be done but are spiritual acts of service that allow the smooth running of the many ministries of the church.

The Bible encourages us to "carry each other's burdens". Sometimes we do feel "burdened" and perhaps a listening ear and/or a prayer together can be a way to "carry each other's burdens". Do feel free to be in contact with Robert (DCFC Care Pastor) at robert.hamilton@dcfchurch.org or telephone 01224 733979.

Ladies, if there is a matter that you would prefer to speak to another woman about, feel free to be in contact with Anita (anita.talbott@dcfchurch.org or 01224 733979). Anita would be happy to help and could sensitively put you in contact with one of the team of ladies at DCFC who help with pastoral matters.
