What to Expect
Sunday Morning Services at 0930 and 1130
Both of the morning services are usually identical. Arriving at either of these you will be directed to a car park space and welcomed as you enter the church. You will receive a diary which sets out what is happening in Deeside in the coming week; and you will be assisted in finding a seat if you wish. There are no special seating arrangements so you can normally sit anywhere you like subject to how close to the commencement of the service you arrive. There is no dress code and no requirement to have any previous church background or knowledge.
The services can vary week to week but generally you can expect the service to last about 70 minutes, to be introduced by a chairman, to have a time of praise, some bible readings, prayer and a sermon from a specific passage in the bible.
If you have children there are supervised crèche facilities available for babies and toddlers and junior church for primary children or Bible class for secondary 1 and 2.
There is plenty of time after the service to chat to people, or to have someone pray with you if you wish.
Sunday Evening Service 1800
The format is similar to the morning service but there are no supervised crèche or junior church activities. The first Sunday evening of each month has a focus on world missions, whereas the second and fourth Sunday evening services incorporate a communion service. You are welcome to attend any of these services.
